Changing Lives

Our Refugee Women’s Empowerment Project (RWEP) provides supplemental services to refugee and asylee women

living in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties.

RWEP enhances skills and builds healthier, better connected, and more stable families.

Twice a week for 3-month long sessions, RWEP offers intense trainings using presentations, workshops,

small group discussions, and field trips.

Sessions focus on goal-setting, peer support, mentoring, finding community resources, pre-employment training, job readiness,

financial literacy, health issues, parenting, nutrition, ESL, safety, and domestic violence prevention.
