Gifts from
individuals are most welcome to help support our programs.
Please note that specific items are often needed and substitutions are
not always able to be accommodated. Please contact us for
information about current or urgent needs and to arrange for pick-up
or drop-off of items.
- Furniture for efficiency apartment
living (twin and double beds, mattresses, dressers, small sofas,
easy chairs, small table and side chairs)
- Household furnishings (linens,
pillows, lamps, dishes, cooking utensils, small televisions,
radios/alarms)
- Infant/child clothing and
furnishings (layettes, coats, car seats, cribs, high chairs, toys,
strollers)
- Winter coats and boots (in season
only)
- Non-perishable food items
- Cleaning supplies (sponges, mops,
cleaners, laundry detergent, clothes hangers)
- Gift cards in any amount to local
stores such as Target, HomeDepot, and Safeway.
Group donation drives are most
welcome! Let us work with your group to organize special
collections such as. . .
- Home furnishings (kitchen kits,
cleaning kits, linens kits, new mattresses)
- New toys for Christmas
- Baby "showers" for children in
foster care
- Medical and craft supplies for
AIDS camp youth
Fundraisers help our agency with
needed financial resources. Please contact us if your group
would like to organize a fundraiser around these or other program
activities. . .
- Scholarships for children to
attend AIDS camp
- "Help the Homeless" walkathon
(November of each year)
- "Help the Homeless" mini-walk with
your local school or youth organization
- Scholarships to fund youth
internships in Earthkeeping Ministry
- Fund drive to assist with
renovation of several group-care residences
